The Dark Conscience of Alder Wiseman

The Dark Conscience of Alder Wiseman is a series about effect of a guilty conscience on the human mind . Alder Wiseman is a was a writer in the 1930’s who had the experience trying to  conceal a  dark secret and had it affect his sensory experiences in different aspects of his life. His writing, the taste of food, the sound of music, literature, etc were all affected . These images are illustrations of his experience.

These images were all shot on color negative film and printed conventionally as c-prints. (20×24 edition of 10). They were shown at Augen Gallery in Portland, Oregon .
